i've used itunes purchases music/albums before. never movies/tv series.
instead, of these come netflix can watch on apple tv.
since can view of titles on itunes apple tv well, i'm looking or after "old favourites, new releases etc" thing stopping me fact itunes charges "per-season" , "per-title" rather flat monthly fee netflix does.
trying scrap physical movies dvd media, , keeping "small" percentage not available stream on either good, need know first if should take step.
the point of netflix pure rental whereas on itunes there sense of ownership on titles purchase. pricing off, refuse pay price new release when physical media same price. said, won't find allows subscription , ownership knowledge. itunes expect pay on per title or per season basis, cost season still comes in less cable adds if want season pass more couple of shows.
scrapping physical media fine, kept few titles can't find streaming anywhere. think bought 1 movie itunes once , i've rented few, @ premium. if see on itunes not on netflix , can rent it's decide whether it's worth it.
