1.8GHz i7 MBA + Ableton Live?

hi all,

i've arrived market 11" 1.8ghz i7 macbook air , had few short questions usability of , few applications.

use 3 applications whenever use computer (not simultaneously of course):
• ableton live 8
• photoshop cs5
• counter strike: source (via steam)

question is, 11" 1.8ghz i7 macbook air powerful enough run these 3 applications and/or have direct experience they'd share using these applications on such or near system intend buy?

on average ableton, run around maximum of 9 or 10 channels, anywhere 2 10 processors. i'm not sure how bog system down signal processing, i'm willing step how bounce tracks compensate.

on ableton, use virtual instruments. work .wav or .aiff audio samples.

on average photoshop, toy around images lower 1000px x 1000px, , it's simple editing.

counter strike, wouldn't @ mind scaling graphics back, albeit older game, ensure smoothest playability.

thank ahead of time responses, input , help!

p.s., use logic on these machines? how it?

i'd know logic , ableton live 8.

there on these boards uses dj setup ... listed on mba setup picture thread. resolution issue on-board screen real-estate not enough, causing scrolling. external display nothing bliss.

c2d limited in al mb ... mbp using in 15" lineup muster enough ... yet core i7 should more adequate imho; know.

honest since either of curious & asking i'll bet our immediate use not intensive enough see performance issues; maybe in time more experience would.

know?
