Seperate everything in a dual boot

hello, i've installed mountain lion dp2 (yes, registered developer)..
far, great expect 1 thing.
i've installed dual boot snow leopard, can access snow leopard partition under mountain lion , vice versa.
mountain lion tends go searching things on snow leopard partition. when 'open with' in ml, see programs installed under sl..
when want open file program on sl partition, works fine, others crashes error damaged program installation.
there can keep sl en ml partitions 'seperate' each others, don't search things on other partitions? although still want access home folder on other partition simple unmount isn't solution..

 

guess found answer. disabled spotlight in mountain lion on snow leopard partition , don't see anymore sl-apps in 'open with' menu. never thought simple
