Eating Healthy

i have no general knowledge of how eat healthy. have had fast metabolism , worked @ jobs on feet majority of day. ate whatever wanted , never gained weight. know metabolism has slowed down now, out of college , few years professional workforce. spend of day in cubicle hell, noticing gaining weight. weigh 165, not overweight want 140-145.

current food habits typically fast food, frozen pizzas, burgers, chicken, peanut butter, chips, hotdogs , general other crap. positive thing have cut pop consumption pretty drastically in last month. went 8-12 2-3 cans day , drink 48-64oz of water day now.

can't remember when last time ate vegetables or fruit. how learn eat healthy? how drastically change diet? how better idea of should , shouldn't eating?

hate tell this, take eating sans peanut butter , stop eating it. not eat out @ restaurants unless it's unavoidable/special occasion, , review nutritional information beforehand. "healthy" grilled chicken sandwich gonna bite when realize it's 1200 calories , 45 grams of fat.
