Is it imperative to "eject" before unplugging 30 pin?

i notice ipad, i'm far less inclined "eject" device itunes.

else pull plug without ejecting first? there real danger in this?

no danger. in order use wifi sync, cannot "eject" device itunes. if do, ipad , itunes cannot communicate 1 another.

i'm not sure if technically ever "real" problem. think remember getting corrupt itunes databases, though.
