2 screen colors and contrast problems

hi.
since upgraded lion, whenever boot mac (macbook white late 2009) , connect second screen (an old samsung model) colors (not times) distorted , can't use applications such terminal (also distorted in print-screens assume not cable). if connect other screen same model problem remains (more on below).

more strange this, if use full-screen on application, colors go normal, screen dark , cant see things grey text on example, problem affects non apple applications... finder , such appear dark moment, blink, , function perfectly.

more strange, if connect mac other model of screen problem goes away completely, , can go screen , work normally...

meanwhile, colleague of mine macbook air , recent samsung model , has contrast problem not color one, don't know if should blame combination lion/samsung.

have ever seen similar? i'm cursed (i attract kind of problems )?
