convince my boss

anyone know of decent white papers can refer when making case boss me have mbp? i'm trainer, delivering training desktop apps, document , video creation, , video collaboration. i've got of own thoughts, more meat add put "proposal" of sorts makes winning case it. multi-threading between pc versions of products , mac versions good, need hit home run.
