Looking to uprade Ram in Macbook Aluminum 13" (Late 2008)

hey guys,

have macbook first aluminum macbook made. have 2 gb of ram , upgrade it. don't know it. how can upgrade to? safe put memory in isn't apple's? , when it, , click onthe apple icon , go mac, still 2 gb? or change , recognize on own? or have change it?

sorry questions. i'm new upgrading stuff. in advance everyone!

you can find specs on apple products, including maximum ram:

• by visiting everymac.com: actual maximum ram
• by using mactracker
• by entering serial number here find specs model. (be aware models can use more ram apple shows. check everymac or mactracker verify.)

apple doesn't make ram, compatible ram add fine.

when boot new ram installed, mac recognize it. there's nothing more need do.
