hey all, new mac user in house. title says, pc user , getting tired of it. need change. got macbook pro 13" base model local apple store , it. using now, actually.
pc quad core i7 @ 2.08ghz , honestly, don't think making use of that. have 4gigs of ram , using 32bit version of windows 7.
in huge black box hooked 700 watt power supply. on pc is:
photo editing (raw files canon 5dmkii)
light video editing (time lapse , few movies 5dmkii)
android phone rooting, hacking / android debug bridge (adb)
web surfing
minor gaming, don't anymore. when sims
play movies, dvds , itunes. bluray nice, can out.
thats it.
so, thought replacing big desktop compact powerhouse mac mini not sure if should base model , ram 8 gigs of ram or 799 model due different video chip. heard adobe don't play intel graphics chip. true?
using cs3 on desktop , thinking buying full version os cs6 when comes out switch. use canon dpp photo processing. quicktime pro putting time-lapse still add movie later.
thoughts , direction can give me great. love hear if android phone users use macs here too, given nature of forum, guess there not many
