extreme battery drain issues

i have user got brand new verizon 16gb 4s. however, unknown reason, battery draining (or near it) within hour.

here summary of settings-



0 battery heavy apps installed (she had 2 apps-flashlight , npr, npr not running when looked @ it.

wifi turned off

screen brightness @ 50%

location services off

apps in notification center mail, calendar, reminders, messages , weather.


have exchange email account. set check mail , pull every hour have set manual pull. thing can think of battery draining not gets 2,000 messages day, hoping setting combined settings above help.


did not check ios update-though did visit apple store on weekend, assume checked , updated if needed.

gut telling me lemon-i have never heard of iphone (or phone) draining fast while not doing remotely considered battery intensive.

have thoughts?

 

it's app/email acct/contact/etc.

try deleting/disabling/removing one-by-one until figure out is.
