so imac keeps forcing me restart it.
happens twice week.
recommended this wondering if there else do?
there way check if imac has problems/has virus/malware?
imac pretty new (6 months) don't know why happening.
it's called kernel panic.

i know you've been told information before in thread started, i'll repeat it:
macs not immune malware, no true viruses exist in wild can run on mac os x, , there never have been since released on 10 years ago. cannot infect mac visiting website, unzipping file, opening email attachment or joining network. malware in wild can affect mac os x handful of trojans, cannot infect mac unless actively install them, , can avoided basic education, common sense , care in software install. also, mac os x snow leopard , lion have anti-malware protection built in, further reducing need 3rd party antivirus apps.
