Who has a perfect backup + remote streaming setup?

my imagined perfect scenario be:

1. multiple macbooks 1 network drive
2. shared iphoto / imovie libraries on network drive
3. shared itunes music / movies libraries on network drive
4. internet remote streaming network drive mac & ios devices
5. secure replication of entire drive parent's home (duplication of backup data)
6. network drive handles bit torrent downloads (nice have not required)

has (or better!) going? how?! i'm thinking need have @ least dedicated mac mini of these! (as in synology / qnap / airport extreme nas cannot it.)

you're asking more typical nas designed do. takes multiple solutions effect you're looking for.

have qnap nas , handles backup, files server , streaming needs. use carbon copy cloner create backup on portable disk take off site.
