hi, 1st post here. have been searching kinds of forums , reading tons of posts not finding out how resolve issue have. upgraded lion morning , osx fine. however, when attempted boot win 7 bootcamp partition, starts generic win 7 splash screen bsod's "unmountable_boot_volume" error.
model '09 macbook pro 13 inch aluminum body. prior lion running snow leopard 10.6.8 , bootcamp partition had win 7 64 bit ultimate worked perfectly.
see windows volume in boot manager. see bootcamp partition in disk utility. repair disk grayed out , if click verify disk "verify volume failed: invalid request...don't know if normal or not. format ntfs , capacity/remaining drive space seems normal when worked before.
when try win 7 repair options 1st thing notice windows os isn't listed in system recovery options window. states if isn't listed load drivers install hard drives. not sure here actually. also, if go recovery tools , select command prompt can't cd c: drive, "the volume not contain recognized file system" (assuming c: bootcamp partition).
not sure @ point. advice appreciated.
cheers!
have tried apple support site. go apple .com search bootcamp might find info there or if in need of updated drivers there. try using syst disc utilities see if mounted if not try remount bootcamp partition
