we using mac mini @ our church run graphics/videos. hdmi connection goes video switcher, display port dvi goes projector.
when mini boots, if make projector primary, it's making hdmi port switcher primary. in fact, unless pull display port , plug in, mini doesn't know display port there on reboot.
thoughts?
i have same issue! have dual monitors hooked mini. 1 mini hdmi hdmi on monitor, second thunderbolt dvi adapter , dvi in on monitor.
unless pull either hdmi or thunderbolt out mini before rebooting without fail monitors on reboot switch positions (the mini things monitor on left in right , vice versa). annoying moving windows between 2 screens!
i've tried different combinations of having left monitor on hdmi , right on thunderbolt , vice versa after each reboot switch positions again.
thankfully don't reboot frequently, before each time pull thunderbolt monitor out mini , plug in after reboot complete.
have mini released past july 2.7ghz dual-core intel core i7, 8 gig ram
