Unable to restore iPhone

my iphone running out of space , having heat problems, decided restore it.



whenever delete music, turns "other". since morning, have been unable backup, sync or restore iphone, , attempting crashes both itunes , phone.

ideas how can resolve issue?

 

it looks running out of room , need make hard choices on music collection , purchase device more memory
