is here familiar updating on lion? have 2.6.3 installed lion. not sure if 1 should concerned updating seem think need reinstalled after system update.

it's considered different app x11 included in lion, should not overwritten system update. use applications need x11? typically these applications run on remote systems output display mac's screen, might include applications ported mac unix wireshark or gimp. if answer no, don't bother updating latest version of xquartz.
