Wake on LAN problems again

i'm trying 2011 10.7.2 imac wake remotely via ipad , i'm having few problems , wondering if help?

know lion came darkwake "feature" installed , i've edited com.apple.boot.plist file fix it, have tried whole bunch of different ipad apps, set ports forward on router , i'm running ethernet cable sure no matter damn thing won't wake up!

know when try "wake" ipad app doing something because lights on razer mouse start pulsating don't when sleeping.

did ever find sure fire way fix this?
