new here , first post - sorry if these questions have been asked 101 times couldn't find right answer here go...
firstly,
wiping 2008 white mac , starting again, first transferring music external hard drive, once have reinstalled osx run music in itunes via external hd rather copy onto mac hd. have changed location under settings external , consoldating files , copying on external.
question once ive reinstalled osx how go adding music newly d/w'ed itunes mac copying tracks internal hd?

also, running 10.5.8 - worth me upgrading snow leopard? ive read reviews people best stick 10.6.8 rather upgrading sl runs slow on 2008 white mac?

in itunes > preferences > advanced uncheck these boxes:
i upgrade new os version if offers need current version doesn't. far, haven't seen in sl or lion need, i'm sticking leopard now.
