Trouble Loading iCal Information to Google Calendar

i’m trying sync icalendar -- on imac -- , google calendar.

set things using gmail new calendar entry on 1 shows on other -- entry on ical pops on google calendar , vice versa.

piece i’m missing uploading events / data / entries / whatever call them … in ical on computer.

went in ical -- file / export / export , created file .ics extension.

in google calendar went “other calendars” , clicked on little arrow in box on right. menu appeared chose “import calendar” chose .ics file , clicked “import”

after few moments got error message:


“import calendar

processed 0 events.
failed import events: unable process ical/csv file..”


can work clean slate can’t figure out how ical information loaded up.

i’m running ical 4.0.4 on intel i3 imac osx 10.6.8. browser chrome 16.0.912.77

ideas or suggestions?

 

i'm assuming have calender in list that's on computer, such "home" or "work" these events in. i'm assuming have calendar on list google account.

should able import/export right in ical. select source catalog, export. import...where you'll select new ics file , pick destination calendar.
