so i've been having issues isp (verizon fios). i'm getting signal droppage 2-5seconds every 8-10min or so. doesn't let me stream doesn't buffer. online games end dropping too. it's horrible.
verizon has been great support. we've replaced router twice , oth(?) box in front of home. have boosted signal , t2 support ran diagnostics , find no errors.
1 technician asks if have ios devices connected , known issue ios5 devices hammering router. apple supposedly fixing in next patch.
has had similar issues? i'll taking ios devices off network when home, seems odd. imagine router issue, not ios. .. maybe specific application?
haven't had issue @ all. running 2 iphones , 2 ipads (wi-fi only). of them running latest ios.
have orginal fios router set wifi enabled , have 3 ae set extend mode.
no issues.
interesting if case. have been able turn off devices , see if signal still drops?
