Pcsx2 of a 2011 ATI Mac mini

i'm trying play xenosaga iii on hdtv, looks awful in native resolution. went out , got windows 7, since pcsx2 mac port isn't yet, , while i've had success @ standard ps2 resolution, want more. doubling internal res looks wonderful, can't keep steady frame rate.

of run pcsx2 on macs? help?
