Mac Pro randomly shutting down

hey all, have 2008 2.8ghz octo-core mac pro has been nothing short of perfect pretty since got it.

(about week ago), reinstalled lion scratch rid of cruft/excess programs don't use anymore. i'm working pretty clean system @ point.

of maybe 2 or 3 days ago, computer shut off - not reboot, turn off, , find out because screen "no signal". yeah. have setting "restart automatically if computer freezes" set, , doesn't work either.

whenever hit power button turn on, come on maybe 2 seconds, shut down again. tried removing side panel , powering on again, , of time seems work - seems maybe something's overheating, can't imagine why wouldn't have been doing past 2 or more years if that's true.

seems pretty random when decides shut down - 1 shutdown happened loading photostream in iphoto, time reading website , had itunes playing.

have istat screenshot of temps right after shutdown, let me know if there's else may figure out. i've never had happen before.

, help!

attached files:

i compared istats menu yours, have same machine you, , appears amps on cpu1 7 amps higher mine resting around 13 amps, yours shows 20. nothing or power supply going. else in istats menu looked same mine. can power supplies new , used online, don't think big deal replace yourself, i've never done it.
