hello
sister bought ipod touch yesterday. seems work fine except facetime , imessage.
in both applications, after signs in apple id, can see next screen second before automatically reverts 'apple id sign in' screen. no error message shown.
while couldn't find information on our specific problem online, did find general ipod touch/facetime troubleshooting tips followed:
- we've updated latest version of ios , itunes
- we've verified apple id via apple website
- we restarted ipod touch
- we made sure there no active restrictions under 'settings > general > restrictions'
- we reconnected our wifi. restarted our router sure
i tried logging facetime own apple id on ipod touch. surprisingly, screen no longer reverted previous screen automatically, wasn't able move on next 1 because account wasn't verified.
after verifying account on apple website, problem occured on account well.
love apple products, do. after struggling problem entire afternoon, want strangle guy thought idea not show error code or @ least short description explaining problem. on other device would've been able figure out doing wrong in seconds, yet here leave me guessing.
