Is it worth upgrading to new core i5 macbook pro?


i have mid 2009 13" macbook pro following specs

2.26 ghz core 2 duo
8gb 1066 mhz pc3-8500 ddr3 sdram
320gb hdd
snow leopard , lion installed

not power , apple think might needs logic board 350 pounds , how ever new 13" macbook pro cost me 850 pounds student discount .this swill have following specs

2.4 ghz (2430m) intel core i5
4gb 1333 mhz pc3-10600 ddr3 sdram
500gb hdd
lion installed

need both lion , sl in laptop , learned can install sl after bit of hassle on new macbook pro laptops.

if in similar situation? don't mind going new model if gives me considerable performance boost .

ps: bit of programming , photoshop work in addition normal web browsing .
 

id wait till 2012 macbooks released later year assuming u have backup computer already.

if not 2011 ones fine. apple offer refurbs in store further price savings.
