iPhoto 11 has missing photos

i have photos in events in iphoto 11 stored on macbook pro.
have deleted them off memory card, , have
8 different events can see photos, can't open them,
or export or save them in way. when open them
huge ?. have installed latest update iphoto 11.

has experienced iphoto 11?

for reason iphoto can't find photos imported. seeing previews created iphoto.

if can find name of 1 of photos try searching it. people either have iphoto set copy photos iphoto (you haven't) or import photos pictures folder. there.

it's possible imported them card without copying them, means deleted copies. not put card in camera or it, , copy of cardrescue or equivalent , see if can resurrect photos. odds you'll able if haven't used card in meantime.
