have been lurking on these forums day, attempting dig information might me fix problem. last 4 or 5 days imessage has been unreliable. i'm getting message through maybe 15% of time. using iphone 4s running ios 5.1. not have texting plan, , have text messages blocked. reason ever text girlfriend, has iphone, decided save $20/month.
it's been going great until past thursday when imessage stopped working. have tried many things resetting network settings, restoring phone, messing sorts of internet-suggested tricks turning off wifi , flicking imessage on , off. this issue persisting across both cellular data , wifi.
there can do, or problem on apple's end? thought contacting them directly, not find method isn't tied warranty.
i joined forum try , find out myself, i'm not impressed imessage @ minute! have restored phone, reset network settings, changed dns, etc, etc. , still have problems on both wifi , cellular! really bugging me...
