iMessage bug - 2 threads for same contact

has there been updates on fixing bug, when corresponding via imessage breaks down 2 seperate threads if receive message email , message phone number.... though both of under same contact.

know there solution person had use email caller id on phone... if text not have email address in contacts, person going receive random text email caller id.... not viable solution.


getting annoying having seperate threads same contact
