think i've exausted options. i've been roaming net looking solution thing call black screen of death, couldn't find way particular problem solved. know, turns on, makes chime sound screen stays black, when it's off. i've tried reseting pram cables power disconnected , didnt work. took genius bar , after connecting different monitor , not getting on told me graphic card or logicboard issue , cost me 1000 bucks. needless dont have apple care dont have money buy else after over-priced computer purchase. dont me wrong, apple makes great computers in opnion, it's wrong notion apple cares, hooked , gotta bleed pay price. in genius bar guy opinion should buy new 1 , of course smart/rich enough buy apple care. asked if issue caused did, said: no, happens. - well, though luck. i'm thinking i'm gonna try fix myself, have find , buy cheap working graphic card , if dont fix it, logic board. seem expensive... anyway, i'm frustrated... i'm posting hoping give me different perspective on issue... remember when bought imac excited, first 1 , made such effort save money it, worth it. well, not anymore.
when turn on screen stay black, or grey screen first apple logo first, , goes black?
