Can't update apps on my iPhone and iPad. Please help!

i'm having same issue on both. have ton of apps listed need updated. whenever go update them, nothing happens. however, facebook app says "cleaning". i've waited , waited never goes away. have restart device. there way fix this? i've searched can't find anything. thanks.

 

this article discusses what's happening when app says it's cleaning. should happen app "clean" itself, although may take quite while, , return normal, usable state.

waiting finish allow update other apps.
