have latest 15" macbook pro (core i7, high-res matte screen) , upgraded rev b macbook air (1.86 ghz, 128 gb ssd) new 11.6" (1.4 ghz, 128 gb ssd). far, new air same old 1 in general performance, consider impressive considering slower processor, slower memory bus , having half l2 cache.

new air faster in booting, wake-from-sleep , general file operations.

overall, find new air fast bother macbook pro anymore, , leave @ home , use air everything. usage not light, drive 23" monitor @ work , have 6 applications open multiple windows , tabs. of on 2 gb ram without slow-downs.

deleted.
