great if camera manufacturers worked apple use simple piece of software lisenced , installed on new camera allow photo sharing ios iphoto on air.
apple has modify software use beaming photos between ios devices. there minimal work done on both sides of party , huge gain in value iphoto , digital camera manufacturers struggling sales.
think it's win win:
- i don't have use camera connection kit.
- camera manufacturers boost in sales because of software potential of connecting iphoto on ios.
- apple gets slight boost in sales because beginners , amateurs , maybe pros might interested in such seamless feature. , maybe kickback licensing embedded software these manufacturers make lack of camera connection kit sales.
- apple has done similar before allowing manufacturers use iframe format video cameras , seamless integration imovie.
there secure digital card , companion app called eye-fi supposed send photos camera directly ipad wifi. bought 1 not work , had return refund.
