there had been interesting claims last year apple had been actively testing arm (a5) based macbook air. arm processor same 1 used in iphone , ipad. arm-based macbook air, however, raise number of questions kind of device might be. run os x, or ios? closer mac or ios device? 1 of main advantages of using arm processor reduction in power-requirements, corresponding drop in computing power. using arm, however, abandon binary compatibility existing mac os x applications.
