Are my kids too young for am iPod touch? for an 4th

contemplating on whether or not 2 kids (9 , 12) ipod touch them share? both me , wife have iphone 4 , every , let them play games on it, know way around ios 5.1. technology changing fast, try make sure kids not technolgicaly left behind. of course going restrict safari , them puchasing apps. use games, listening music, , imessaging wife , , friends have ios 5. y'all think it's young enlist them in apple army?

 

i think 12 year old enough use ios device, 9 ? i'm not sure, can't give 1 without other guess. sensible supervision have said, think kids should okay. take care allowed do!
