Apple Care+ or SquareTrade?

preordered "new ipad" yesterday , did not buy apple care+. i'm second guessing myself, have seen , heard many stories of busted ipad screens.

warranty suggest, applecare+ or squaretrade? applecare+ cover liquid damage well?

know both have $49.99 payment fix/replacement. not live near apple store have wait time on both problem did arise.
