After update sleep is laggy

after last update when put 2009 mac pro 2.93 ghz in sleep mode takes several seconds time out. never case before update. did here of bugs @ first of launch waited couple of weeks before downloading update. ever thing else seems work fine far can tell. have done disk permission repair , several reboots has not helped. has else ran in problem? thinking may go snow leopard can out loosing data, music ect. info guy's put site
