17" G4 iMac logic board into a 15". Is it possible?

hello everyone,

love 15" imac.
it's beautiful.
it's practical.
isn't peppy.

know can't upgrade processor because it's soldered logic board.

had crazy idea. can take 1.25ghz logic board 17" imac , use in 15"?

knowledge of ppc imacs lacking, don't know if board physically fit or if cables , connectors work.

won't destroy working 17 imac, i'd buy replacement board online. wrong.
know buy faster imac, wouldn't fun.

in theory, think work fine. overall housing same size, hardware standpoint....

said, more tech-savvy might need chime in regard general compatibility of drivers, wiring, etc.
