i'm going buy 2 x mac mini work. used running fcp, after fx, photoshop , other graphics 2d based applications. monitors use 24" clinique tablet/screen wacom.
intention upgrade ssd drives , ram 8 gb along powerful cpu available in each model.
concern is; starting point upgrade, use mid mini (with ati graphics card), or server mini, (with stronger cpu, weak intel graphics card)?
i' m unimpressed intel graphics, powerful enough on 2d apps suggested? quad core cpu on server better dedicated gpu on mid mini?
2d applications have multithreaded code, i'm scepticle how of increase in speed create.
if using photoshop or fcp on mini please let me know how performs , mini model using.
money not concern me when reviewing mini. power more important. i'm not prepared opt tower mac pro, hurt finance.
i'm thinking go mid level mini ati , upgrade cpu i7.
in advance can help.
that's best option photoshop. don't know video.
