Transferring Data between Accounts on iOS Devices

hi,

sorry if basic question, wanted make sure how plan this.

have iphone 4s , new ipad on 1 itunes account, , i've handed down ipad 2 dad, has own itunes account. thing is, gave him iphone 4 , kept on account. how go moving iphone 4 on account without losing data such photos , contact details, etc. realise paid apps lost, it's data i'm concerned about.

for photos, take them off device using usb cord connection, closing itunes if opens, , go device if external drive. open folders until dcim - that's photo storage. drag/drop photos folder on pc/mac. when dad sync itunes, have itunes sync photos folder on computer.

there way backup contacts, i'm not sure how. think use itunes export contact data (file > export) folder on computer. believe idevice compatible format vcard. know did when migrated gmail icloud - exporting contacts computer folder gmail in idevice compatible format. importing itunes , sync.

hope helps some. maybe others can expand on this.
