am still using first generation 500gb time capsule, in our new house wifi coverage provides pretty hopeless. main problem no wifi signal reaches tv, can't stream movies imac tv (and offset obvious suggestion, electrical outlets mean moving tv isn't option!). so, i'm looking @ getting new time capsule, partly increased storage, because read suggests provide greater wifi range. question can give me idea of how greater range is? @ moment, signal drops 5m before reach tv - jump 1st gen 4th gen make difference? in advance!
no, because range dependent on lot of things construction of house. if need more electrical outlets buy power strip , move tv closer.
