2011 Air vs Late 2011 Pro

trying decide between 2011 13" 1.7 i5/128gb air , late 2011 13" 2.4 i5 500gb pro.

did searches online , haven't been able find in way of direct comparisons between 2 (only 2011 air vs 2011 pro). not looking make decision me, trying make sure have covered.

came pros list each , looks this:

air positives

• higher resolution
• flash storage
• lighter

pro positives

• faster clock on cpu
• upgradable ram
• more internal storage

missing obvious there? know optical drive isn't listed pro, i'm not entirely sure care that. processors on 2 apples apples, clock speed being difference? want laptop last me several years , worry air's processor , fact can't upgrade ram in terms of ability keep os updates , increasing size of apps.

 

the pro has optical drive , few additional ports.
