ok, think best naval warfare sim out there? got demo of battlestations pacific runs lovely , looks good, prob that, there others? maybe bit more in depth not bad/in depth harpoon? sub one?

defcon supports single-player. easy enough do.

Idea! iMac with a battery!

i had great idea new imacs in future: built-in battery!

imagine this: imac battery imac today, except instead of connecting outlet through outlet through conventional thick white cord, connects outlet through charger cord not unlike 1 used mbp or mba: magnetic connection , all. battery inside imac not large or particularly powerful battery... can power machine 45 minutes on full charge (longer in sleep mode, picture). cut down on price of battery (hopefully).

now, can 45 minute battery? well, can more move computer around. imac is all-in-one design, , find machine relatively easy pick , move around. feature needs built upon!

why call on machine when can pick , take directly them? dunno guys, me, great convenience.

battery come in use during blackout. give time needed @ least save data or finish before shut computer down.

maybe i'm bonkers, think great innovation in computing world. make imacs stand out other desktops. , matter, eliminate need shut down computer every time want move more 5 feet away nearest outlet.

think?

 

a 20 pound battery power imac 45 minutes doesn't seem anywhere.

i filed complaint against apple federal trade commission:

apple inc. engaged in deceptive marketing practices , false advertising regarding flagship computer, apple mac pro.

however, apple still engaged in marketing mac pro "new" product. there nothing "new" two-year system , advertising item "new" patently false , deceptive.

Why does itunes never close?

i have no apple products hooked computer @ moment. click on x, top right of itunes on windows 7 machine. closes, opens full screen. way close app ctrl alt delete, end process.


why this? using latest x64 version. ideas?

 

your itunes may corrupt.

need delete components (there 6), re-download fresh copy , may find fixes it.

incase aren't sure won't lose music.

antivirus on machine can attack download causing issues this. careful disable av whilst downloads.

hope fixes it.

Lion clean install

hello,

want clean install of lion on mbp. have 1 hdd 2 partitions: hd1 , hd2. on hd2 have stuff backed-up (iphoto library etc).

want clean install lion on hd1, without loosing data on hd2. possible ?

 

an install on 1 partition isn't going affect other partitions in way.

opened topic talk tips , ideas battery usage , charging methods.

doing keep iphone , ipad batteries in condition? when charge phone? wait %?

have been told charge when low plug in wall when it's @ 1% , let die 1 time per month. same methods iphone or ipad. think these good? have tips?

 

you're wasting time. batteries fail, , whatever efforts make "preserve" not matter. use device how want , replace battery if think it's not holding enough charge. odds apple if there's problem.
