Very strange wi-fi issue

hi. sorry if wrong place post this.

problem have macbook pro, iphone 4 , ipad.

moment turn on wifi on of them router starts flashing crazy seem lots of data being transferred. on macbook pro noticed transferring large amounts of data. slowing down connection web browsing.

data transferring when have internet apps closed.

thing can think of 3 devices tied same icloud account , there apple tv 2 in network. transferring data or other icloud related service?

when use own personal iphone 4s on same network don't problem! iphone on icloud account different account other devices using.

that's thing can think of @ moment. else have ideas? if why devices transferring data?!

in advance. it's driving me crazy!

 

could icloud, dropbox, whole slew of applications checking mothership.

stop or reduce after while (say, hour or two)?

have closed internet applications. mean closed, or quit? mail.app in particular keep checking email when you've closed windows. unlike windows, os x keeps apps running if have no open windows.

music retailers pay $0.903 wholesale song , can price accordingly (high mark-up, discount, loss etc...). itunes sell @ $1.29 30% mark-up.

 

well, prefer cds on both. people happy pay more less long marketing tells them it's "the future".

Student seeking help: MB, Windows in Parallels or Bootcamp and 21" docking solution.

hi, i'm looking buy first macbook going away uni. i've been looking @ mbas , mbps , need make decision. current dell laptop 15" , has 275gb hdd. ideally, i'd new mb match this. think away 150gb due smaller size of os x (5-7gb instead of 27gb) , fact can move music , video library on external disc.

parallels can use windows alongside os x play games , understand take memory well. i'm not interested in editing want graphics solution can game smoothly. better off running parallels gaming or should go bootcamp route smoother experience?

aside, looking @ setting "dock" mb. monitor , keyboard , mouse can work on larger screen. if has ideas on ~21" hi-res monitor, preferably speakers built in, please throw in 2 pence. i've looked @ henge docks, they're not me.

sum - need new mb @ least 150gb hdd, powerful enough run games smoothly, needs cost-effective , i'm looking docking solution well. if helps, live , study in uk. advice can give

running windows in parallels means you'll running both os:s @ once, bootcamp means windows have of hardware itself. when talking smoother experience, depends on want in windows, of course bootcamp better parallels if don't need have os x running @ same time.

call me crazy..but i actually think the "yellow" shade goes away somewhat

yes know beating dead horse..however picked ipad on friday else , noticed had warmer screen ipad2..almost iphone4 vs 4s.

, has nothing glue drying ever , can't speak 1 after going , forth ipad2 , display models @ apple store can notice mine cooled , pretty close neutral.

magic trackpad problems

i have magic trackpad linked 2008 mbp. works, , of gestures work, however, of newer gestures mission control, etc, don't work. i've done research online , kind figure out. have experience or know of solution? searched these forums , couldn't find anything. i'm running 10.7 updated.

check if enabled in system preferences. if are, turn them off , turn them on again. it's common occurrence magic trackpad.

Help- Transfer iPad Verizon 3G account to new iPad 4G

i sold ipad2 verizon 3g in order buy new ipad 4g model. restored ipad2 factory settings before sold it, forgot turn off 3g service. i'm trying set 4g account on new one, , i'm using same email address had old ipad, , won't let me set account. assume need call verizon, stop/cancel old account , transfer service. i've looked online number call, , have tried couple, don't work. can give me number call this, or other help? thanks...

i'm not terribly familiar how works on verizon because of lack of sim cards when sold ipad 1 ipad 2 made same mistake, , after calling at&t(611 iphone) informed me needed swap out sim card first ipad , use on new one. luckily sold knew , had no problem getting old sim back.
