My iPhone 4s outperforms my new iPad in download speed...

i have ipad 3rd gen, 16 gb wifi only. wifi problems wanted go ahead , check speeds. had been having intermittent connection problems @ school, may result of terrible service provider. anyway, connected both ipad , 4s same network, , placed them both right next me.

ping both of them between 14-17 ms. download speed 4s averages around 9 mbps (last test 8.70 mbps). meanwhile, ipad averages around 7 mbps (last test 6 mbps, have had tests range 5-11).

normal? don't know internals of either device , how suppose perform. assumed ipad , should outperform iphone.

on cable network, , same spot, mac , windows computers hit 30 mbps. should concerned/be making appointment? i'm not picky, after paying 500 dollars, want device work correctly. appreciated, guys.

iOS 5.1 restarting device when closing notification in notification center (video)

i have try many times on new ipad..
ios 5.1 issue when closing notification notification center drop menu while touching other part of screen cause idevice restart , not respond.

i curious people have video quality. read great read 1 comment on mr thread new ipad owner being disappointed quality of video when being viewed on large tv screen. make sense? common sense tells me video capture fine not familiar technology beyond using it.

if ask me, video quality fine. if ask takes videos , puts them on large screen tv, of course not great. in humble opinion, believe video quality dependent on lighting. if have excellent lighting, video turn out great. if not such lighting... not great.

iPhone 4S - Silent switch feels weird

this 3rd replacement iphone 4s now. on device silent switch feels weird. if put light pressure on it, stuck in middle , doesn't feel right when move , forth.

has else noticed this?

nope, i'm on 2nd iphone 4s , had 3gs before , mute switch on both of 4ses has been excellent , feels clicks nicely between on , off.

maybe take yours apple store compare, or compare friend if possible.

Turtle Beach Micro II loudness

i bought turtle beach audio advantage micro ii usb dongle mac. audio output port on macbook pro seems damaged, plugs sit loosely in port can cause audio drop out if cable jiggled wrong way. has gotten rather irritating. bought usb dongle provide new audio out jack. thing is, particular dongle seems output audio @ high volume levels. if turn both system sound , itunes' sound way down, can achieve comfortable listening levels headphones, above loud.

there utilities out there (either download or on mac) use drop down volume output of usb dongle bit?

advice appreciated.
