why bother? many apps avplayerhd play mkv no problem.

if atv reasons, can tell dependent on file size , computers cpu. use iflicks convert, or handbrake in circumstances , around 1gb can take around 30 minutes on imac 27''.

What Program to make Movie Titles/Credits

i'm trying figure out program people use make own movie titles , credits. way i've been doing i'll find movie title like, i'll attempt find typeface used whatthefont, , i'll use font , try manually place titles on image in photoshop, , i'll use jpeg in movie.

it's cumbersome, wondering how others this. , have buy every single typeface want use individually?

i'm not sure how people place titles overlaying films (from film on vimeo):


or how 1 make moving title sequence, such if want credits move somewhere off screen on right side center of screen, , move away credit same.

proper titles might take @ motion, can had 50 usd mac app store (mas), can animate text , space , on. example.

, yes, if want use individual font , not free, need buy. can @ dafont similar looking free fonts.

ps: use after effects , combustion title purposes, 3 d animation software, motion should give enough freedom , templates start.

Synology NAS & iTunes Query

hi folks,

i'm thinking of building synology nas backup media, pictures, ebooks , personal documents. aim see files both pc , mac mini.

can tell me if can store music , videos on nas , run itunes mini. in essence, no files on mini, files uploaded both pc & mac nas, files viewable on mini , transferred ipad/ipod.

yes, can absolutely that. have 2011 mac mini samsung 128gb ssd , synology 211j 2 wd 1tb drives. have 800gb of movies, songs, tv shows, pics, etc on nas , use itunes point nas.

jailbroke atv2's , use find non mp4 files (avi..etc) , plays fine.

definately decision.

hello forum, flushed success @ having last issue solved wiser heads mine er here challenge. have mba return apple concession in usa. in uk realise missing iphoto imovie etc, if go app store has accept button, tells me has been assigned apple id , need purchased no option buy. have done complete os x reinstall still missing vital apps. ideas how them?
