Minimize Windows Question

does know if possible? feature of windows finding difficult live without how "minimize windows" function works. i'm looking see if there way can minimize programs, perform task, , maximize programs again.

basically, can minimize windows bare desktop, , can choose program want open , opens 1 program.

what's frustrating me right in lion cmd+option+m minimizes windows of specific program , won't give bare desktop. if use mission control slide programs out of way, second try , open 1 of programs brings instead of 1 program.

example of let's save image in photoshop. image on desktop , need upload somewhere. ideally, i'd minimize windows, open/pull ftp program, drag new image need it, go regular work.

in windows super easy because of "shake" allows keep existing program open , closes other windows, when "shake" again resumes opened programs. i'm finding osx has no intuitive solution (or @ least can see).

guys doing manage workflow? or matter of people dealing it?

Would the current MBP be good for me?

i'm deciding on or next , don't think should wait opinion. current laptop crashes while having 2 tabs , skype open. advanced game play runs fine on c2q.

buying option?

 

the current mbp fine, if can wait till may/june, maybe newer mbp, if want.

maybe current laptop not have enough ram, 2007 macs do, except maybe run games play.

iPad light-bleeding problem..

ok. been seeing news how new ipads having problems decided check mine.(mine's 3rd gen ipad)
went bathroom, turned off light, opened white image ipad , iphone 4. color wise, did see little different between ipad , iphone 4. felt ipad's screen little more darker.(aka yellow-tint guess) tried find other flaws such dead pixels. , found these.



see them? there 2 spots light-bleeding. photo taken iphone 4 quality kinda bad yeah. more noticible in real eyes. made appointment genius bar @ apple store , heading out soon.

reason i'm posting here ask opinions. im sure guys more expert in apple products so..
anyway should exchange new one? reasonable exchanging?
, if so, how long take exchange new one? if have engravings?
new 1 or refurbished one?
wow sorry asking many questions im frustrating much..

pre-ordered new ipad on march 7th @ apple store online. adding if makes different.

1) on ipad 2 fits fine because sleep/wake button covered found applying pressure button - takes away tactile feedback of button

2) claim fits new ipad have yet fit on mine without forcing not feel comfortable.

Draft emails brick iPad2's email app

this has been ongoing problem, seems worse lately. if save email i'm writing drafts, when take out again write more, send button grayed out , can't off screen. have hard reset , lose i've written since re-opened it. (yes, check see if send button active before writing more.)

seems occur @ random - work fine while , problems. can exit icloud email app , use other app without issues. email app frozen point on draft on screen.

have idea of why happening?

Wifi connection (not transfer) speed for AT&T LTE iPad

say returned home or office , in vicinity of registered wifi network. how new ipad connects wifi (automatically)? seems awfully slow on at&t lte ipad. slower iphone 4s (5.0.1 at&t).

similar experience?

 

it's automatic me instant, if don't speed can connect manually in setting > wifi area.

iphoto and atv3

hi guys,

i'm new world of appletv. i'd able share photos on tv people. turned on sharing, selected folders, etc., won't show on tv. it's eternal loading wheel only. shows folders assume it's correctly set up. can issue size of photos/library? i'm sharing 500 or so, they're several mb each.
i'm not sure if that's causing problem, if so, can compress photos somehow without exporting/importing? make difference if network cable , hook them directly instead on wireless?
or might there different problem?
