Full disk encryptuion

since aware filevault2 has been cracked (in mere matter of minutes), best way secure entirety of mac os operating system. truecrypt manual says supports full disk system encryption variety of winblows devices, not mac.


there secure alternatives can recommend?

heard long computer isn't in "sleep" mode, fv2 still hold it's integrity. true?

very few people need full disk encryption. small subset of files sensitive information, make encrypted disk image.

i'm using kingston memory stick first time & there's load of files on there, taking 1gb. needed or can delete them? (see pic - ignore moneyball file)

Resolved Debugging is giving odd results

hey, have problem , can not explain why not displaying correct results. hoping preference setting accidentally hit causing display wrong information or other information. included photo showing results.

declared int , tried initialize value of 20. in photo can see step through code in initialize it. nslog result correct. in area, lower left, should see results of variable values expecting see tagidnum = 20. instead says equal 1?

can shed light on me?

resolved: friend stopped tonight , looked on together. switched debugger lldb gdb , gives correct results values in debugging window.

Win 7 on Mac 23" Once Upon A Time

wow. tried fix minor problems win win 8 drivers deleting partition in bootcamp , re-install equal portion osx/win 50/50. has worked twice (installing windows7 32 bit disk). time cannot black screen , cursor flickering in upper left. apparently doesn't recognize disc.

never part asks install windows. after partitioning stalls. have no clue windows commands on mac keyboard way eject kill machine , reboot in mac.

windows 7 disk problem or bootcamp?
