Some questions about security/viruses/torjans etc.

the recent news macs getting unwanted nastiness has got me thinking , have few questions:

1. what's stopping gaining access keychain , therefore every password?

2. when have (for example) flash update pop-up, how know that's , not downloading else?

3. understand, trojan requires me click allow install. why? why can't baddies work around this?

4. checking site "https" - why can't baddies have https websites too?

5. have trojan - why should care?

6. software update - how know in software update legitimate? computer not 'reconfigured' download files elsewhere?

Home Theater Network & Bonjour Support

hi guys,

new here , hoping got right thread one.

basically, have reasonable knowledge of mac , general stuff, have network issue has me stumped..

added denon 1912 avr home theater, , excited use "airplay" features. have airport express distributing wireless around house (with airtunes working fine), old siemens 6520 modem, , bunch of other devices (connected via tenda switch) network such as, ps3, wd media player etc, work perfectly.

problem can't pick denon on itunes or iphone consistently. have followed denon documentation perfectly, (internet radio works fine, , dvr has working ip address etc..). denon support guys think configuration fine..

denon tech guys think problem lies router , or switch. apparently need devices 'bonjour support' specifically. have looked pretty hard, can't find many products mention type of support. looking wrong thing? type of routers , switches support airplay (bonjour) connectivity through itunes etc..

guidance on issue great help!

iPhone 3GS Multiple Problems!

hey guys,
i'm new forum here, , didn't introduce myself yet(sorry) i'm 14 , have cheapo dad won't bring me apple store try , fix problem. last night, started experiencing white screen(of death?) @ approximately 3am, layed on iphone , extremely hot. tried turn on, hot took off charger, , went downstairs , put in fridge(not freezer.) when got home school, went check on , still not turn on. i've heard putting in dfu mode , shift+restore trick. problem won't show in itunes, doesn't connect or anything. i'm asking known forum cousin suggested. there can repair it? please let me know asap!

 

it cooked death. there isn't can done it. suggest plugging in charge , checking on signs of heat. if gets hot again without turning on, it's dead. if turns on or shows signs of life, may savable.
