Share wired connection from iMac


is below possible.

i'm being cheapskate , don't want fork out on wireless dongle sky hd box.

want anytime+ , near router.

can plug ethernet cable imac sky box can connect anytime+ service?

if need do?

 

i don't think so, have connect ethernet cable router. don't believe can use imac router. instead of connecting ethernet cable imac connect router. , should go.

Can Apple stores clean dust?


i swapped ipad yesterday new one. i'm pleased new display in general except 2 small light grey spots on screen. 1 have hard for, other bit more noticeable near home button it's kind of out of way (still not easiest thing notice). guess it's dust under glass i'm not sure. it's not detectable ipad off, show darker spots display on, , more noticeable on lighter background. i've never experienced or noticed type of defect before on of ipads i've had.

apple stores type of service? cleaning dust? can live have nice cleaned up.

hate playing swapping game , find more difficult trying transfer verizon prepaid 1 ipad another. @ verizon store 50 minutes last night them struggling transfer service.

question. never planned on buying applecare+ if can use exchange ipad out @ future date due existing defect?
 

no, can't clean dust because ipad screen isn't designed come off, it's glued in place. it'll need sent back, repaired.

Problem with 21" iMac size and desk space


i've been waiting new imac seems ages. discussing wife when noticed dimensions 21" going bit tight. own desk bit small. dimensions on apple site quote 52.8 cm width. imac owners out there quick measure up. know these dimensions not accurate. gap on current desk measures 52.3 cm. don't want go down new desk or mac mini route. there chance 2012 model bit bigger or smaller (although believe screen size , form stay same). have desk (uk) suggestion lots of storage etc in case.

Home sharing 1080p not appearing?


hey,

simple answer have been encoding blu-rays software called ivi pro. have processed on 2 hundred movies itunes way in 720p time no problems.

decided settings little further see whether or not improve quality further changed video bitrate 12mb/s.

seems have kept true blu-ray quality disc itunes plays perfectly.

reason movies done way (1080p) opposed 720p not appear through home sharing, reason this?

Tmobile Boston 3g? Is it true?

stumbled onto threads stating tmobile may enable 3g in markets, given right device.

can confirm case in real life in boston of march 2012?

unlocked , jailbroken iphone 4 -- 3g or no?
unlocked , jailbroken iphone 4s -- 3g or no?

gather iphone 4s chip has 1700hz band, disabled?
gather iphone 4 chip has 1900hz band, at&t uses. , @ point we're dependent on whether t-mobile has refarmed spectrum?

 

go on hofo or t-mobile specific forum , see if sgs-ii or other phone has pcs , aws test you.

Airprint Activator issue


any appreciated.

installed airprint activator (latest version) on 2009 mac mini. router latest apple extreme. ipad 3 sees printer while (few hours), "no printer found" when trying print. energy saver set "wake on network access" , printer sharing "on".

had similar problem?
 

have tried checking "activate daemon restart" in advanced settings?
