hello, bought jb'd ipad 2 on 5.0.1 has remnants of previous user itunes name. when open game many times asks itunes password guys acct. (game center crap).
also, previous jb'er had siri installed , lots of other root file (i assume) apps in cydia.
tried remove cydia files, , many say, warning - deleting fle may corrupt cydia or os.
there way 'clean' ipad , keep 5.0.1? or can me systematically remove of these apps in safe way. see terminal , ssh, worry me security. not use programs.
i'm working on getting factory 'fresh' ipad 5.0.1 if jb option, how can make ipad safe , less corruptible? ipad operates fine otherwise , syncs ok itunes acct. i'm wary security , causing crash , needing restore to5.1 - thanks.
open cydia. delete every tweak except applist, apt 0.7, bug fix: duplicate icons, bug fix: stuck pages, cydia installer, cydia translations, default hd sbsettings, erica utilities, gui-gpg-sec, mobile substrate, sbsettings, source gui, springboardaccess, , substrate safe mode.
hopefully, have ifile installed well. don't delete either. use ifile, go var/mobile/applications , var/stash/applications , ensure there isn't strange applications residing there.
may have folder called var/stash/themes. there winterboard themes stuck in there. can choose delete these well. , when done, empty trash in ifile. check settings, trash hidden. cheers.
p.s. itunes, sure there way wipe file in question via ifile or alter it, ipad thinks fresh user. don't know off top of head. sorry.
