im in process of doing research ssd upgrade in late 2008 macbook pro (first gen unibody).
current specs:
2.53ghz core2duo
9400m + 9500gt 512mb
8gb ram
2x 320gb hd in raid 0 (stock western digital) (i have removed optical drive harddrive caddy)
dilemma:
want/need 120gb of harddisk space. can 1 120gb ssd , call day, have capability of running 2 hdd in macbookpro, why not 2 60gb ssd , make them raid 0
looking @ 60gb sataiii such as:

http://www.newegg.com/product/produ...ction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&item=n82e16820233223
(they are/were around $60 each after mail in rebate)
*i choose these hdd because on sale.
questions:
1. run problems these raid 0 ssd setup? (my research has brought attention new sandforce may cause problems in our macbooks)
2. running 2 ssd on kill? want maximize performance of harddrive's sata 3gb/s capability.
3. other hard drives guys/gals recommend? (or not recommending raid0)
insights, comments, critiques, or advise highly appreciated. want breath life macbook pro.

ps- stick newer ssd (like sata 6gb/s future upgrades if decide newer mbp or build pc....however, if new sandforce creates problems, have no problems getting sata 3gb/s ssd)
i believe sat interface s sata ii limited 240mb/s.
no point getting sata iii ssd.
